Inktober: Pisang Goreng

Pisang goreng a.k.a banana fritters is an all time favourite breakfast/tea time snack among the Malays (& probably other races too here in SG). I love the ones with crunchy bits (called “kerak” in Malay). Usually eaten as it is or sometimes dipped in sugar, recently there is a trend of adding chocolate sauce and/or cheese to it.
